Nathalie Taylor was victorious at the No. 7 position to lead the Big Green.
With its win, Yale improves to 3-2. Dartmouth falls to 4-4.
Holding a 2-0 lead after the first two games (11-5 and 11-6), Taylor's opponent Layla Johnson retired, giving the Big Green the point.
At the No. 8 position, first-year
Zayna Usman won her second and third games (11-9 and 11-5) to take a 2-1 lead, then dropped the fourth game (16-14) and fifth (11-5) to narrowly fall, 3-2.
Junior
Chelsea Cho won her first game at No. 3, but Yale's Christy Tin Yan Lau responded to win, 3-1.
The Big Green will return home on Wednesday to host Williams at 5 p.m. at the Berry Squash Courts.
