HAHMILTON, N.Y – The Big Green fell short in their matchup with No. 4 Colgate Saturday, falling 5-0 at the Class of 1965 Arena. With the loss, the Big Green fall to 5-17-2 on the season and 2-13-2 in ECAC Hockey play while the Raiders move to 24-3-1 overall and 15-1-0 in the conference.
The Big Green looked to bounce back from a devastating loss Friday night to No. 6 Cornell. Despite the optimism, the Raiders got on the board first and maintained their lead and dominant play throughout the game.
They scored their first goal just over halfway into the first period. They extended their lead less than five minutes later on the power play when
Kenzie Bachelor went to the box for a trip to lead 2-0 at the end of the first period.
Colgate doubled their lead, adding two more goals in the second period, one in the beginning half of the period, and the other in the second half of the period.
The Raiders only scored one goal in the final frame just over three minutes in to secure the 5-0 victory.

Eleanor Rogers made 24 saves on 29 shots faced for the Big Green.
