HANOVER, N.H. – Kauany Gutz notched 14 kills and 13 digs for a double double as the Dartmouth women's volleyball team fell to Harvard 3-1 Friday evening from Leede Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
SET ONE:
- The set began evenly matched with Harvard holding a steady lead, but the Big Green held the lead to four or less.
- A late 5-1 Dartmouth run tied the score 22-22 which included an ace and a kill from Gutz.
- Three straight kills from the Crimson closed out the set, 25-22.
SET TWO:
- Dartmouth jumped in front early but four straight from Harvard evened the set at 14-14 forcing a Dartmouth timeout.
- Out of the timeout, the Crimson added two more kills but were stopped by a Molly Power kill, 16-15 Harvard.
- The set was tied four more times, but Harvard prevailed, 25-22.
SET THREE:
- Â The teams exchanged scores and runs for the majority of the set until a 7-2 run put the Big Green up 16-14. The run included three kills from LaFata and two from Gutz.
- Dartmouth charged on and four errors from Harvard and a kill from Ava Roberts brought the score to 24-18. A kill from LaFata ended the set in favor of the Big Green, 25-19.
SET FOUR:
- The Big Green held a lead until the Crimson tied it 8-8. The set was tied three times until Harvard took over, 13-10.
- The teams went back and forth for the next 15 points until Harvard scored two, 22-17.
- Harvard won the set on a kill, 25-18.
