PRINCETON, N.J. – On Wednesday, the Ivy League announced their All-Ivy awards, recognizing four members of the Big Green, sophomores
Vasilis Moiras and
Trenton Blake, first-year
Eidur Baldvinsson, and senior
Kristian Feed.
Moiras, who ranked second on the team in scoring, earned First-Team All-Ivy honors. Moiras matched the team high with six goals, also adding two assists for 14 total points, matching his point total from last season.
He opened the season with goals in two straight games, also adding an assist in the win over FDU. He added two points in a win over reigning Ivy League Champions Yale and scored the Big Green's two goals on the road vs. Penn.
Baldvinsson played in every game during his first season with the Big Green, making 12 total starts and playing 762 minutes, earning himself All-Ivy Second Team honors. He tallied a goal and an assist for his first career points in his second game of the season, a 4-1 win over FDU. Baldvinsson also added a goal in a 2-2 draw with Columbia, bringing his season total to five points.
Blake, the team's leading scorer, also earned Second-Team Al-Ivy recognition. Blake scored six goal and added five assists for 17 total points, more than doubling his offensive production from his first year. He started and played in every game but one.
Blake went on a three game point streak at the beginning of the season, tallying three goals and two assists for eight total points. He also scored a goal and an assist in the win vs. Merrimack, an assist in the win vs. Brown, goals against Columbia and Yale and an assist on the road at Penn.
The final Second-Team All-Ivy Honoree is senior Feed. Feed, a go to at the midfield position for the Big Green, played in 1,339 minutes this season, starting every game. He added two assists, one in a draw against St. Mary's and the other vs. Yale while also scoring the Big Green's lone goal against Princeton.
Feed is also Dartmouth's Academic All-Ivy honoree, not only being recognized for his work on the field, but in the classroom as well.
