Ryan Cornish scored 13 points for the Big Green as the Dartmouth College men's basketball team fell to Boston University 78-50 on Saturday afternoon from Case Gymnasium.
The Big Green's record falls to 2-2 (0-0 Ivy League) and Boston University's improves to 1-3 (0-0 Patriot League). Â

FIRST HALF: 
- Dartmouth scored first but an early 12-2 run from the Terriers put them ahead 22-16.
- Cornish and Brandon Mitchell-Day recorded steals midway through the half that both resulted in points for the Big Green with 6:18 remaining.
- Boston University ended the half on a 10-2 run to hold a 34-21 lead into halftime.
SECOND HALF:
- The Big Green opened the half on a 9-2 run which included back-to-back 3-pointers from Cornish and one from Connor Amundsen to close the Terrier gap to eight, 38-30.
- 14 unanswered points from the Terriers opened a 65-39 lead with 8:25 left.
- 3-pointers from Jackson Munro and Cade Haskins plus five points from Cornish gave momentum back to the Big Green with 4:59 remaining in the game.
- The Terriers were able to hold onto the lead and end the game with a 78-50 victory.
