EASTON, Mass. — The Dartmouth women's basketball team trailed by 10 after one quarter and could never get back in the game, as Stonehill pulled away in beating the visiting Big Green, 75-43 on Tuesday evening.
Victoria Page led Dartmouth with 11 points, marking the seventh time in nine games this season in double figures.
The Big Green outscored the Skyhawks by four in the third quarter, but Stonehill erased any doubt in outscoring Dartmouth 24-10 in the fourth.
Sharn Hayward led the Skyhawks with a game-high 27 points, shooting 10-of-14 from the floor, including 7-of-11 from 3-point range.

FIRST QUARTER:
- Stonehill scored the game's first eight points before the Big Green got on the scoreboard, via an Olivia Austin second-chance layup with 6:36 on the clock.
- An Austin 3-pointer got Dartmouth as close as five, 10-5, with 4:34 remaining in the first.
- However, the Skyhawks immediately scored the next five points to extend their lead to 10, which proved to be the margin after 15 minutes of play.
SECOND QUARTER:
- Things didn't get any better in the second for the Big Green.
- After an Alexandra Eldredge step back jumper pulled Dartmouth within 28-16 midway through the period, the Skyhawks ended the quarter on a 12-2 run to take a commanding 40-18 halftime lead.
THIRD QUARTER:
- The Big Green showed some life coming out of halftime, scoring the first four points, forcing a quick Stonehill timeout just 1:20 into the quarter.
- Despite the early surge, the Skyhawks always had an answer, as Dartmouth couldn't get any closer than 17 the rest of the way.
- Two Page free throws with 35 seconds remaining pulled the Big Green within 51-33 heading to the fourth.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- Stonehill began the fourth on runs of 12-2, which extended to 17-4, to open a 31-point advantage after a Hayward 3-pointer made the score 68-37 with 3:47 on the clock.
- Lucija Banovic ended the scoring with a layup off an assist from Annika Jiwani, making the final 75-43.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Banovic's six points marked a career high against a Division I opponent. She finished Tuesday night 3-of-5 from the floor.
- Sierra Carson scored her first-career points on the road, finishing with two via a second-half layup. It came in a career-high 21 minutes played.
- Alexandra Eldredge tallied a Dartmouth career high four steals; she now has 10 steals over her last four games.
- As a team, Dartmouth shot 26.6% from the floor (17-of-64), including 12.5% from 3-point range (2-of-16).
- Stonehill finished at 51.8% (29-of-56) and 50.0% from behind the arc (11-of-22).
- Dartmouth's nine turnovers marked a season low and fewest since having just seven last Jan. 27 at Brown.
- The Big Green's 17 offensive rebounds were a season high and most since tallying 20 on Jan. 7, 2023 against Brown.
