Connor Amundsen has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for the second straight week and third time this season, the conference announced on Monday.
In the last two games for the Big Green, Amundsen averaged 36.7 minutes and 19 points. He shot 55% from the field, 82% from three and 78% from the free throw line. Against Le Moyne, he played 38 minutes and had 13 points. He shot 4-9 from the field, 2-3 from three and 3-4 from the free throw line. In the team's dominate win over Vermont, Amundsen scored a team leading 25 points. He added four assists and four rebounds. He shot 7-11 from the field, 7-8 from beyond the arc and 4-5 from the charity stripe. He also played a team leading 35 minutes and had zero turnovers. Amundsen's seven made threes are tied for the second most made threes by a first year in the NCAA this season.
