Big Green in Action This Week: February 15-21

Preview all the Big Green in action over the next week.
Equestrian – Friday, February 16 + Saturday, February 17
Equestrian heads south for this second time this term to face another SEC opponent, competing at Auburn on Friday on SEC Network +. The Big Green will then face UT Martin on Saturday. Dartmouth went 3-1 this fall before falling 10-0 at Texas A&M late last month, a program that's ranked No. 2 in the dual-discipline poll. The Big Green remain at No. 3 in the single-discipline rankings.
Men's Basketball – Friday, February 16 + Saturday, February 17
The Dartmouth men's basketball team will look to get back on track when the Big Green travel to Columbia and Cornell for games on Friday (7 p.m.) and Saturday (6 p.m.) on ESPN+. Most recently, the Big Green dropped a 77-59 final at Harvard. Dartmouth led 14-13 eight minutes into the game, but the Crimson responded with a 9-0 run and wouldn't trail the rest of the way. Women's Basketball – Friday, Feb. 16 + Saturday, Feb. 17
The Big Green are home for a second straight weekend, hosting back-to-back Ivy League games on Friday and Saturday. Dartmouth is coming off last weekend's loss to Harvard, which featured a career-best 24-point double-double from sophomore Clare Meyer. To view the full preview, please click here.
Men's Ice Hockey – Friday, Feb. 16 + Saturday, Feb. 17
The Big Green return to Thompson Arena this weekend for a pair of ECAC Hockey tilts against Clarkson and St. Lawrence. The Big Green currently sit ninth in the league standings but tied for eighth on points. Playoff seeding remains up in the air with just six regular season games remaining and all to play for with hosting rights for the first round within reach. The Big Green travel to North Country this weekend to face ECAC Hockey opponents No. 3 Clarkson and No. 7 St. Lawrence to wrap up their regular season play. The Big Green will look to put up strong performances against ranked opponents and build momentum headed into the first round of ECAC Hockey playoffs. Read the full preview here.
Skiing – Friday, February 16 + Saturday, February 17 + Sunday, February 18
Coming off a second-place showing at the Dartmouth Carnival last weekend, the Big Green ski team heads to the Williams Carnival beginning Friday. Last weekend was highlighted by multiple third-place finishes across both Nordic and alpine events. Following the two-day carnival at Williams, there will be a slalom NCAA qualifier event at Catamount Resort as a makeup for the Vermont Carnival slalom that didn't happen due to weather.
Men's Tennis – Friday, Feb. 16 + Sunday, Feb. 18
A 5-0 start was spoiled by a loss to St. John's two weeks ago, but the more opportunities are ahead for the Big Green, who are set to compete in the ECAC Championship this weekend at Penn. Dartmouth squares off with the host on Friday and will also compete on both Saturday and Sunday.
Men's Lacrosse – Saturday, February 17
The Dartmouth men's lacrosse team opens the 2024 season, and the Sean Kirwan era as Big Green head coach, on Saturday at Bucknell. Opening faceoff is set for 12 p.m. on ESPN+. There's a lot of momentum within the program, which is coming off a 6-6 season in 2023, its best record since 2008, and added Kirwan as head coach — a two-time national champion, winning in 2019 and 2021 as offensive coordinator for the Virginia Cavaliers. Men's Golf – Saturday, Feb. 17 + Sunday, Feb. 18
The spring slate kicks off for the Dartmouth men's golf team this weekend with a trip to Georgia to compete in The Savannah Intercollegiate. It's the first tournament for the Big Green since competing at the Elon Phoenix Invitational in North Carolina back in mid-October. Women's Lacrosse – Sunday, Feb. 18 + Wednesday, Feb. 21
Lacrosse season is back as the Big Green women's lacrosse program opens the 2024 season this Sunday on the road at No. 11 Stony Brook. It's just the second-ever meeting between the two teams and Dartmouth will look to start the season with a win over a nationally-ranked opponent. The Big Green then travel to New York on Wednesday to take on Siena in a midweek contest. The full preview will be available on Friday.
