SOFTBALL SEASON IS HERE
The Big Green are set to open their season with a four-game slate at the Georgia Classic, beginning on Friday with a single game against Radford. Another matchup with Radford, followed by No. 21 Virginia Tech, await on Saturday, and the weekend comes to a close with a standalone Sunday tilt with host No. 3 Georgia.

ALL-IVY RETURNERS
Rachel McCarroll, the Big Green's ace in the circle, and slugger Kelly Beaupre both earned Second Team All-Ivy honors following the 2023 season. Other returners Alaana Panu, Mary Beth Cahalan and Lauren Ben-Ezra were each honorable mentions, in addition to a First Team nod for 2023 graduate Kate Farren. McCarroll led the Ivy League in innings pitched (175.1) last season and ranked among the top five in the conference with a sub-3.00 earned run average. Beaupre led the Ancient Eight in slugging percentage (.631).

A LOOK AT THE 2024 SLATE
Following the Georgia Classic, the Big Green will be in Louisville for a six-game stretch beginning Wednesday, March 13. Ivy League play kicks off on Saturday, March 23 at Harvard and fans can catch Dartmouth at home for the first time on Tuesday, March 26 when Boston College visits for the start of a lengthy homestand that also features Ivy League series against Yale and Brown.

NEW FACES
The 2024 roster features five first-years: Justice Malone, Jensin Hall, Olivia Schramm, Faby Serna and Cwen Wilson. The class comes from five different states, spanning from Illinois to California.

FIVE YEARS TO THE DAY
When the Big Green square off with Radford in their season opener, it'll be exactly five years since the last meeting between those two programs. Dartmouth defeated the Highlanders, 7-0, in the third game of the 2019 season behind two-RBI performances from Bryce West and Tessa Grossman.

NEXT UP
The Big Green are back in action on Wednesday, March 13 for a trip to Bellarmine. The following day, Dartmouth will square off with Butler in a neutral site game at Bellarmine.
