CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The opening night of the Ivy League Championships, which kicked off with the 200 medley relay and the 800 free relay on Wednesday evening at Harvard, was highlighted by a program record and another top-five time in program history.
In the second and final event of the night, Dartmouth was able to out-touch Brown in the 800 free relay, finishing seventh with
Yan Dvoretskiy,
Tim Park,
Colton Rasmussen and
Isaac Weigel recording a program-best time of 6:28.12. Dvoretskiy's performance to lead the relay (1:37.11) was the third fastest in team history.
The Big Green were eighth in the first event, the 200 medley relay, with
Logan Pack,
Alexander Ye,
William McClelland and
Adam Ladman finishing at 1:29.66, the fifth best time in program history.
The opening session of Day 2 begins at 11 a.m. with finals following at 6 p.m. Thursday's slate will feature the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, 1-meter dive and 200 free relay. Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+.
