BIG GREEN BACK IN ACTION
Dartmouth takes the field for the first time since Sunday, Feb. 25, beginning a six-game slate in Louisville against Butler in the opening half of a doubleheader on Wednesday, March 11. A battle with host Bellarmine in the nightcap will send the Big Green into the Louisville Classic, which kicks off on Friday, March 15 and features two matchups with South Dakota, along with a pair of Big Ten opponents (Illinois and Michigan).
Â
BATTLE TESTED
Dartmouth faced two ranked opponents during the Georgia Classic, including host No. 3 Georgia, during a season-opening four-game slate. The Big Green fell 6-0 to No. 21 Virginia Tech before taking an 8-1 loss to the Bulldogs in the final game. Dartmouth also dropped two close games to Radford, narrowly missing its first win of the season.
Â
HALL IMPRESSES
First-year pitcher
Jensin Hall provided one of the Big Green's early-season highlights when she tossed four scoreless innings against No. 21 Virginia Tech. She also held Radford scoreless through an inning and two thirds during the weekend's opening game. Hall currently ranks among the top 20 nationally in strikeouts per seven innings (9.5) thanks largely to her seven strikeouts against the Hokies. Her performance earned her a shoutout from D1 Softball.
Â
OHDE'S FIRST CAREER HOME RUN
Sophomore
Allie Ohde belted her first career homer in Dartmouth's second game against Radford as part of a 2-for-3 performance at the plate. It was the only home run hit by the Big Green in the four games.
Â
FRANTZ AND BEAUPRE ABOVE .400
Through four games,
Ashley Frantz and
Kelly Beaupre are both batting above .400. Frantz has a team-best .444 average and Beaupre, currently hitting .417, is tied with first-year
Olivia Schramm for the team lead in RBIs with two.

IVY LEAGUE PLAY APPROACHING
Once the Louisville Classic is wrapped up with Sunday's standalone game against Michigan, all eyes are on the first Ivy League series at Harvard, which begins Saturday, March 23. The home opener follows shortly after on Tuesday, March 26 as the Big Green host Boston College.
