JENSIN HALL SHUTS DOWN HARVARD
First-year pitcher
Jensin Hall helped the Big Green pick up their first Ivy win of the season, throwing a complete-game, one-hit shutout in Game 2 at Harvard with a career-high 13 strikeouts, the most in a single game for any Ivy League pitcher this season. Even better - Hall owns two of the three highest-strikeout performances around the Ivy League this season, having also fanned 11 in another complete-game shutout against South Dakota.

JUSTICE MALONE SHINES IN IVY DEBUT
One of the several talented first-years contributing for the Big Green this season,
Justice Malone hit better than .700 over two games against Harvard. She was 3-for-4 in the opening game, including her first career home run, and was 2-for-3 with a double in Game 2.

TOP-10 STATUS
Hall currently ranks fourth in the nation, and best in the Ivy League in strikeouts per seven innings. She also leads the Ancient Eight in total strikeouts.

On Monday,
Jensin Hall was named the Ivy League Pitcher of the Week and
Justice Malone was crowned Co-Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week.

SCOUTING BOSTON COLLEGE
The Eagles had their eight-game winning streak snapped on Sunday, falling to Syracuse in the final leg of a three-game series. Entering the weekend ranking sixth in the nation in team ERA, Boston College is led by the excellent pitching of Abby Dunning, who boasts a 1.10 ERA and a 9-5 record. Hannah Slike is the most dangerous of the Eagle hitters with a team-best .375 average, five home runs and 17 RBIs on the season.

UP NEXT
The Big Green are home again this coming weekend, hosting Yale for a three-game series beginning Saturday, March 30 with the opening at 12:30 p.m. The homestand continues with another Ivy League series against Brown the following weekend and a nonconference meeting with UMass Lowell on Tuesday, April 9.
