Big Green start the outdoor season strong

RALEIGH, N.C. – On the final day of the Raleigh Relays, the Dartmouth women's track and field team competed in three events.

In the long jump, Bridget McNally placed 12^th with a mark of 5.77m (18-11 ¼) on her second attempt.

Running in the 800m, Annie Jackson ran a personal best of 2:09.97 placing 43^rd.Andie Murray also ran a personal best of 2:10.93 taking 57^th. Teammate Bella Pietrasiewicz placed 148^th with a time of 2:16.68.

200m
Placing 50^th Bridget McNally ran a 25.15 in the 200m dash.

STORRS, CONN. – At the UConn Dog Fight meet, the Big Green finished 4^th with 79.5 points.

In the 100m dash, Jada Jones finished with a time of 12.02 collecting six points in her 3^rd place finish. Joy Enaohwo finished 7^th with a time of 12.25 collecting two points. In 18^th place, Daniela Ruelas Lomeli ran a personal best with a time of 12.54.

Placing 6^th, Mariella Schweitzer ran a time of 14.06 in the 100m hurdles collecting three points. Danielle Johnson finished 14^th with a time of 14.98 taking 14^th. In 28^th place, Olivia Jelsma ran a 17.39.

Jones, with a time of 24.58, and Mariella Schweitzer with a time of 24.58, finished in the top four, combining 11 points in 200m. In 19^th place, Daniela Ruelas Lomeli ran a 25.95. Joy Enaohwo finished with 26.14 coming in 24^th. Olivia Jelsma finished 26^th with a time of 26.16. In 33^rd place, Maya Bryson ran a 26.66. Danielle Johnson finished with a time of 27.01 for 37^th. Ellison Weiner crossed the line with a time of 28.31 in 51^st and Megan Judd ran a 28.38 to finish in 53^rd.

In the 400m Maya Bryson notched a point with a time of 1:01.78 coming in 8^th place.

Coming in 2^nd place, Julia Pye ran a personal best with a time of 2:14.51, collecting 10 points in the 800m.

The Big Green saw 10^th and 11^th place finishes in the 1500m for Claire McDonald with a time of 4:53.31 and Sofia Abrego finishing with a 4:53.71.

In the 3000m Nicole Lipieta finished in 12^th place with a time of 10:49.04.

In the 5k Caroline Livingston finished 1^st with a time of 17:27.68 collecting 10 points. Esme Huh ran a 18:42.25 to place 5^th and finish with 4 points for the Big Green.

In the throws, Autumn Clark threw a 41.99m (137-09) placing 5th to collect 4 points in the discus. Sarah Slowikowski finished 11^th throwing 40.01m (131-03) and Cate Schelly finished 19^th throwing 366.16m (118-07). Tossing 42.89m (140-08), Zoe Chafouleas finished 18^th overall. Right behind her was Olivia O'Connor with a mark of 42.73m (140-02). Finishing 28^th, Cate Schelly threw 32.05m (105-02).

Placing 8^th in the high jump Winona Stone cleared 1.60m (5-03.00) tallying a point.

Throwing 24.86m (81-06), Olivia Jelsma finished 10^th overall.

In the long jump and placing 14^th, Lauren Godwin had a mark of 5.27m (17-03.50). Victoria Laberge finished with her best mark of 4.78m (15-08.25) coming at 23^rd.

In the pole vault Chloe Taylor and Maya Grudman finished 2^nd clearing 3.66m (12-00.00) and eaching tallying 7.25 points. In 7^th place, Ellison Weiner cleared 3.51m (11-06.25) to get three points.

In shot put and finishing 6^th, Autumn Clark threw 12.82m (42.00.75) to gain three more points for Dartmouth. In 8^th Sarah Slowikowski threw 12.56m (41.02.50) to notch a point and Cate Schelly finished 25^th throwing 10.11m (33.02.00).

In the last event, Schweitzer, Pye, Jelsma, Ruelas Lomeli ran a 3:57.42 in the
4x400 relay to get six points for the Big Green.

Dartmouth faces action on Friday, April 12 as they travel to Princeton, New Jersey for the Larry Ellis Invitational.
