Dartmouth beat Princeton last season 23-21 behind an Owen Zalc field goal with 1:29 remaining

HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth football team will square off against Princeton on ESPNU for a second straight season, as announced on Thursday. The Big Green's matchup at the Tigers has been moved to Friday night, Nov. 8 and will kick off at 6 p.m. at Princeton Stadium. Last season, Dartmouth beat the Tigers, 23-21, which propelled the Big Green to three straight wins to end the season and a share of the Ivy League Championship.

In last season's meeting, Owen Zalc capped off the second half, which saw Dartmouth outscore the Tigers, 13-7. After Princeton took a 21-17 lead in the third quarter, Zalc converted field goals of 38 yards (late in the third quarter) and 47 yards (in the final two minutes of the fourth) to help Dartmouth to the key victory. That game was played at Memorial Field in Hanover and was also on ESPNU.

This season's ESPNU Ivy League package begins on Oct. 11 with Harvard visiting Cornell.

Coming off their third Ivy League Championship in the last four seasons, the Big Green begin the 2024 campaign by hosting Fordham in a nonleague showdown on Saturday, Sept. 21. Check back for more as the 2024 season nears closer.
