HANOVER, N.H. — After sweeping a shortened series against Columbia, and clinching an Ivy League Tournament berth in the process,
Jensin Hall and
Cwen Wilson both earned weekly Ivy League honors. Hall, having picked up her 10th victory in the circle, is the Pitcher of the Week for the fifth time, and Wilson is the Rookie of the Week after hitting .500 between the two games.
Â
Hall helped lead the Big Green to a 3-1 victory in Game 1, which ultimately allowed the team to punch its postseason ticket. The Frisco, Texas native struck out eight during the complete-game win while allowing just three hits. She finished the regular season with a 7-1 record in Ivy League games and a stellar 0.84 earned run average, as well as an opponent batting average of .091. In April, Hall was named to the TUCCI/NFCA Division I National Freshman of the Year Top 25, becoming the first player in program history to earn such recognition.
Â
Wilson changed Game 1 with one swing of the bat, stepping up to the plate with two outs and two on in the sixth, and clearing the bases with a double that handed the Big Green a late 3-1 lead. No stranger to sixth-inning heroics, she hit the go-ahead home run to lift Dartmouth over nationally ranked Boston University earlier this season. She recorded another RBI, one of Dartmouth's program-best 22 runs in Game 2, as part of a nine-run first inning.

Fourth-seeded Dartmouth begins the Ivy League Tournament on Thursday, May 9 at noon against top-seeded host Princeton.
