HANOVER, N.H. – Men's soccer will welcome seven members of the Class of 2028 that will join the team this fall for the upcoming 2024 season.
This year's incoming class consists of two center backs, a goalkeeper, two midfielders, a striker, and a winger.
The incoming class is listed below in alphabetical order by last name.
Eidur Baldvinsson
Garðabær, Iceland | KR Reykavík
Striker
Athletic Achievements: Baldvinsson was recruited and played for historically, the best club in Iceland.
Why Dartmouth?: "Being able to play football while studying at one of the best academic schools in the US has been my goal in recent years."

Goalkeeper
Athletic Achievements: Current member of the U18 Greek National Team, secured 11 clean sheets in 23 matches during the U17 season, part of the U19 UEFA Youth League Squad at 16, representing his club on the international level.

"Konstantinos is a goalkeeper who will be a great addition to our goalkeeping group, He has played at the highest level in Greece, whilst also representing the youth national team," Oshoniyi said. "He has many attributes that will make him a top college goalkeeper here at Dartmouth. We are looking forward to him making an impact on and off the field in Hanover!"
Symeon Hadjigeorgiou

Athletic Achievements: Member of U19, U17, and U16 Cyprus National Team, winning the Pancyprian U19 and U17 Championship, played in the U17 Euro Elite Round and U17 Euro Round.

Center Back/Left Back
Athletic Achievements: Served as captain of the U19 Cyprus team, was a member of the 2023 Italy U18 team that won a championship with SPAL, was a semifinalist on the U17 AS Roma team.
Why Dartmouth?: "Understanding the long term ambitious project of the team, shared to me by the technical staff I immediately felt that Dartmouth is the right place for me. Being able to excel on both, academics and soccer along the lines of such a great community made it an easy choice for me!"
"Panagiotis is a defender who we are excited to have joining our family. He has played at the highest youth level in Italy as well as captaining his youth national team," Oshoniyi said. Athletic Achievements: Two-time U17 MLS next frontier division winner

Raphael Oppong Owusu
Sunyani, Ghana | Phoenix Academy
Central Midfielder
Athletic Achievements: All NEPSAC first-team honors in 2023 as well as the Soccer NEPSAC Class B Winner, played on the Ghanian U18 National Team Pool.
Why Dartmouth?: "I believe Dartmouth is the right place for me to improve on myself as person and to improve on aspects of my life including academics, interaction with people and my talent since Dartmouth provide a good and conducive atmosphere for improvement."
"Raphael is a technical center midfielder who has been with Phoenix Academy and most recently, KUA," Oshoniyi said. "He is a midfielder who likes to get on the ball and dictate play, as well as being proactive in winning the ball back once out of possession. We are excited to be bringing a player and person like Raph to the Dartmouth community!"
Marios Tziortzis
Larnaca, Cyprus | AEK Larnaca
Winger
Athletic Achievements: Appearance in first division of Cyprus with AEK, part of Uefa Conference League Qualifiers, played in the U19 Cup Final as a member of AEK, won a championship on Omonoia FC at the U15 level
Why Dartmouth?: "I chose Dartmouth because I want to combine both high quality football as well as the best level of studies, therefore my choice didn't require much of a thought since Dartmouth undoubtedly ticks both boxes."
"Marios is a winger who comes to us after playing senior soccer in Cyprus. His ability to take players on 1v1 and have good service from out wide is something that excites us," Oshoniyi said.
"We are looking forward to adding a player of Marios' ability as well as maturity to our team, and we can't wait for him to arrive in August!"
