HANOVER, N.H. —
Grayson Kline and
Erin Brennan were valuable additions to the Dartmouth football coaching staff over the spring and have already made strong impacts on the Big Green program, as fall camp begins later this week. Kline serves in the role of offensive quality control, while Brennan is the football recruiting and operations coordinator.
A former Penn State Nittany Lion, Kline most recently served as special teams/defensive quality control at Long Island University in the fall of 2023. While at LIU, Kline worked closely with position coaches to develop a special teams game plan. He also reported to the head coach and defensive staff members with a breakdown of the opponents' offensive personnel and tendencies.
In 2024, Kline transitioned into an offensive quality control – offensive line role, assisting the wide receivers coach with individual drills. Kline was responsible for breakdown of opponent, scouting reports, practice and game film. He also helped operate the offensive scout team.
LIU was Kline's first coaching job after his time as a student-at Penn State (2018-23). While at PSU, he began as a quarterback before transitioning to tight end. As a redshirt senior in 2022, Kline was named the coaching staff's Developmental Squad Offensive Player of the Game (Ohio, Sept. 10).
"We're excited about Grayson's love of football, appreciation of high-level academics, and the Division I experience," said
Sammy McCorkle, Robert L. Blackman Head Football Coach.
Brennan came to Hanover with plenty of experience at the Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, while also working the Manning Passing Academy in Thibodaux, Louisiana. While at the passing academy last summer, Brennan assisted coaches, directors and the media coordinator in all camp logistics and operations.
At Isidore Newman School, Brennan served as assistant to the athletic director and varsity girls soccer assistant coach from 2017 to 2024. Her office of two individuals coordinated all elements of 17 athletic programs on campus. Other roles included compliance and eligibility, day-to-day operations, business office, on-site administration and more. As assistant girls soccer coach, Brennan managed logistics, practice planning, training sessions and more. She helped lead Isidore to five state championships in seven years: 2018, 2022, 2021, 2023 and 2024.
Brennan also served as director of soccer operations at the school, efficiently providing oversight, management and budgetary guidance for the operations of eight soccer teams sharing one home field and one off-campus practice facility.
Brennan graduated from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama with her Bachelor of Arts in communication arts. She was a member of the women's soccer team, which is a member of NCAA Division II. In October of 2023, she also became High School Administrators Circle Co-Chair for Women Leaders in Sports.
"Thanks to the generous support from our alumni, we were able to add this new position," said McCorkle. "Erin's infectious energy, desire to compete, and her thoroughness will make a huge impact in our recruiting efforts."
