Bob Whalen to Serve as ABCA President

A 45-year, lifetime member of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), Head Coach Bob Whalen will now serve as President for the 2025-26 year.

Whalen became the Fourth Vice President in 2021, working his way through every Vice Presidential seat. As Second Vice President in 2023, he organized the lineup of clinic speakers for the 2024 ABCA Convention in Dallas.

Also in his time as a member of the ABCA, Whalen chaired the committee for the Lefty Gomez Award, the biggest award given out by the ABCA to an individual who has distinguished himself among his peers and has contributed significantly to the game of baseball locally, nationally and internationally.
