HANOVER, N.H. – David McLaughlin, the head coach of Dartmouth men's basketball, has announced his team's competitive schedule ahead of the 25-26 season.
The schedule consists of 14 games at Leede Arena and 13 non-conference matchups, including the first-ever meeting between Dartmouth and Florida, the defending national champions.
The Big Green will host Marist for their season opener on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. Three days later, Dartmouth will hit the road for the first time this season to face Bryant on Nov. 12. The Big Green then returns home for back-to-back games at Leede Arena, starting with Appalachian State on Sunday, Nov. 16, and UMaine Augusta on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
On Saturday, Nov. 29, Dartmouth travels to New Jersey to face Saint Peter's for the first time since 1996. The Big Green will come back home to host their in-state rival, the University of New Hampshire, on Wednesday, Dec. 3, before flying out west to face Wyoming on Saturday, Dec. 6, and Colorado State on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
The team will return to Leede Arena on Saturday, Dec. 13, to face Boston University before making their way down south, stopping at Holy Cross on Tuesday, Dec. 16, and Sacred Heart on Friday, Dec 19. The Big Green will close out this road stretch in Gainesville, Fla., when they face the Gators on Monday, Dec. 29.
Dartmouth will play its final non-conference game on New Year's Day when hosting Elms College. The following Monday, Jan. 5, the Big Green travels to Harvard to open Ivy League Play. On Saturday, Jan. 10, the team faces Cornell in Ithaca, N.Y.
The Big Green then returns home for a three-game stretch, hosting Penn on Saturday, Jan. 17, Princeton on Monday, Jan. 19, and Columbia on Saturday, Jan. 24. The team then heads to Yale on Friday, Jan. 30, and Brown on Saturday, Jan. 31.
Harvard will make its way to Hanover on Saturday, Feb. 7, followed by Yale on Friday, Feb. 13, and Brown on Saturday, Feb. 14. The Big Green embarks on their final regular-season road stretch on Saturday, Feb. 21, when facing Columbia. They then travel to Penn on Friday, Feb. 27, and wrap their road schedule on Saturday, Feb. 28, against Princeton.
Dartmouth closes out its regular season on Saturday, Mar. 7, when hosting Cornell at Leede Arena.
