
Lathrop, Clarke, and Croteau Named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week

HANOVER, N.H.-- Stephanie Lathrop of Dartmouth women's soccer and Dartmouth men's hockey goalies Roan Clarke and Emmett Croteau have been named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week.

Stephanie Lathrop, Sophomore, Dayton, Md., Women's Soccer
Stephanie Lathrop secured the game-deciding goal in back-to-back tournament matches. In Thursday's semifinal against Columbia, Lathrop scored the winning goal thanks to an assist by Lourdes Lauterborn. During Sunday's final against Princeton, the sophomore forward fired off a penalty kick, finding the back right pocket of the net and earning Dartmouth its first Ivy League Tournament Championship title in program history. With her performance throughout the tournament, Lathrop was named the Ivy League's Most Outstanding Player.
Roan Clarke, Junior, Surrey, B.C., Men's Hockey
Emmett Crouteau, Junior, Bonnyville, Alta., Men's Hockey
Roan Clarke and Emmett Croteau combined for two wins, 41 saves, and just two goals against as the Big Green took down Colgate and then No. 17 Cornell. Clarke played in net for the Big Green against Colgate as he made 18 saves on 19 shots for a .947 save percentage. Through two games this season Clarke has a 1.50 goals against average and a .919 save percentage. Croteau made 23 saves in a 2-1 win over No. 17 Cornell with a .958 save percentage. In two starts this season he has a 1.00 goals against average and a .957 save percentage.
