GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Dartmouth men's basketball played its final game of 2025 on Monday evening, falling 94-72 to No. 22 Florida, the reigning national champions, at Exactech Arena.
The Big Green had an explosive second half which allowed them to outscore the Gators 45-41. Dartmouth's 45 second half points tied for the second most that an opponent has scored in a half against Florida this season. Its 72 points marked the most scored against Florida by a non power conference opponent since Quinnipiac scored 72 on Dec. 30, 2023.
Additionally, the Big Green finished the game with 12 three-pointers, the most by an opponent against the Gators this season. This also marks the most threes by an opponent against Florida since Kentucky had 14 on Jan. 4, 2025, as well as the most threes by an opponent at Exactech Arena since South Florida scored 13 on Nov. 4, 2024.

FIRST HALF:
- Jayden Williams put Dartmouth on the board first with a free throw, which was followed by an Xaivian Lee three-pointer. Lee's three allowed Florida to go on a 13-0 run, keeping Dartmouth from scoring for five minutes.
- Dartmouth came within eight points of the lead, but was unable to chip further away at the deficit.
- Florida took a 26 point lead heading into halftime.
SECOND HALF:
- Dartmouth entered the second half with an offensive spark, which allowed it to outscore the reigning national champions 45-41.
- Kareem Thomas and Cam McNamee led the Big Green in scoring this half, with each having 11 points. This marks McNamee's career high in scoring.
- The Big Green had their best scoring run in the final two minutes of the game, going 7-0 thanks to a three-pointer and layup by McNamee, as well as a jumper by Nikola Abusara.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Dartmouth had a 40.3 field goal percentage, going 25 for 62. It shot 44.4% from beyond the arc, making 12 of 27 threes. The Big Green had a 71.4 free throw percentage, making 10 of 14.
- The Big Green's bench was responsible for 25 of the team's 72 points.
- Dartmouth scored 25 points in the paint.
- Florida and Dartmouth tied at 8 fast break points each.
