HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's basketball team jumped out to a 23-3 lead and wouldn't look back, ending nonleague play with a dominant 99-35 win over St. Joseph's Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon. Four Big Green players tallied double-figure points, with all 12 who saw action recording at least one point, one assist and one rebound.
No Big Green player had more than eight shot attempts, with all but one shooting 50 percent or better from the floor, in a tremendously balanced team effort. All 12 Dartmouth players who saw action played at least 11 minutes.
Dartmouth knocked down 16 3-pointers to tie a program record, originally set in 2017.
With the win, Dartmouth improves to 9-4 on the season, marking its most wins since the 2019-20 season. The Big Green's nine conference wins are their most in 11 seasons (since 2014-15) as they prepare for their Ivy League opener against Harvard on Saturday.
Dartmouth opens Ivy League play on Saturday, hosting Harvard at 2 p.m.
