HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth softball team has been picked fourth in the 2025 Ivy League Preseason Poll, which was announced Thursday afternoon. Princeton was picked to finish first in the Ivy League this season.

The Big Green are coming off a season that saw 18 wins (18-17 overall) and an Ivy League Tournament run. The 2024 season showed improvement from the 2023 season which saw 14 wins, 14-25 overall.

Dartmouth returns 100% of their pitching production from last season in
Jensin Hall and
Rachel McCarroll. Hall was named the 2024 Ivy League Pitcher of the Year for her dominant performance as a first year in the circle for the Big Green.
Alaana Panu also returns to the Dartmouth lineup after being named to the All-Ivy Second Team last season.

Dartmouth kicks off their season when they travel to Florida Atlantic University for the Joan Joyce Classic on Friday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Feb. 16. The Big Green will face Purdue, NC State, FAU and Villanova that weekend. Dartmouth opens the home slate when they welcome projected first place finisher Princeton for three games at the Dartmouth Softball Park starting on Saturday, April 5.
