Isabel Kirby has been named both the Ivy League Rookie and Pitcher of the Week the conference announced on Monday. These are the first-year pitcher's first recognitions of her career.

Kirby had a standout Ivy debut, pitching a complete game and shutout in the Big Green's third game against Brown only allowing two hits. She struck out five, had an ERA of 0.00, and a batting average against of .077. Kirby was critical in securing a first weekend sweep, and entered Ivy play with a bang. The pitcher earned her second win of the season with the 6-0 victory over the Bears.

The Big Green are back in action at non-conference opponent Boston University on Wednesday, March 26 for a 2:00 p.m. midweek matchup with the Terriers.
