Page became the 20th player in program history to reach the milestone

HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth women's basketball fell behind a strong Harvard team 23-7 after the first quarter and couldn't respond, falling to the Crimson, 74-40 on Saturday afternoon inside Leede Arena. Late in the fourth quarter of her final collegiate game, Victoria Page finished a layup to give her 1,001 career points, marking a bright spot to end Saturday's game, and the season for the Big Green as she became the 20th player in program history to reach the milestone.
Saturday was Senior Day, as Page, Doreen Ariik and head student manager Michaela Nsubuga prior to the game were all recognized for all they have meant to the program.
Needing 22 to reach 1,000, Page finished the afternoon with 23, this against a Harvard team that stood second in the nation in scoring defense entering the weekend.
Olivia Austin also enjoyed a strong effort with six points and nine boards.
Harmoni Turner led Harvard with 33 points on 15-of-22 shooting, to go with six assists.
Saturday marked the end of the Big Green's 2023-24 season.
FIRST QUARTER:
Harvard jumped out to a 20-2 lead, with Turner scoring 11 of those Crimson points.
A Page 3-point play got her on the scoreboard for the first time and pulled the Big Green within 20-5 with 1:48 left in the first quarter.
A Page layup got Dartmouth within 23-7 after 10 minutes of play.
SECOND QUARTER:
Dartmouth outscored Harvard 9-7 to begin the second quarter, with six of the points scored by Page and the other three by Sierra Carson. That pulled the Big Green within 30-16 midway through the stanza.
However, Harvard outscored the Big Green 9-2 the rest of the half for a 39-18 halftime lead.
THIRD QUARTER:
The Crimson lead kept increasing in the third, reaching as much as 34 with 47 seconds on the clock, and also at the final third-quarter buzzer. Harvard led 61-27 heading to the fourth.
Page led the Big Green with four points in the period, with Nina Minicozzi also knocking down a 3-pointer.
FOURTH QUARTER:
The Harvard lead reached as much as 40 at 74-34, but the Big Green scored the game's final six points.
A Page layup with 3:54 remaining gave her 999 in her career, then her 1,000th point came with 1:38 on the clock to the delight of her teammates, and the crowd.
