HANOVER, N.H. – When the Dartmouth football team hosts Columbia next season, it will be televised nationally on ESPNU. The game has been moved to Friday, Oct. 24, with a 6 p.m. opening kickoff. The matchup features two of the three teams who tied for the Ivy League title last season.
Â
Last season, Dartmouth and Columbia finished 5-2 in the Ivy League, along with Harvard, to share the Ivy League championship – marking the Big Green's fourth Ivy title in the last four seasons.
Â
The Big Green defeated the Lions last season in New York City, 24-21. After a scoreless first quarter, Dartmouth jumped out to leads of 17-0 and 24-7. Columbia scored two touchdowns in the last 2:05, but it was too little, too late.
Â
The past two seasons, the Big Green's matchup with Princeton has been on ESPNU while in 2022, Dartmouth hosted Penn in front of a nationally-televised audience.
