ZUG, Switzerland – Last week,
Laura Fuoco '25 signed a contract to play professionally in Switzerland, playing for the EVZ. Fuoco is now the second member of the Class of 2025 to sign a contract to play professional hockey following their time at Dartmouth.
The 5-11 forward from Mississauga, Ontario played in 112 games, tallying 27 goals and adding 34 assists for 61 total points.
2021-22 was her first season at Dartmouth, and the forward led all first-years with 13 total points. As a sophomore, her season was highlighted by goals in three consecutive games as well as a three-point game against the Big Red.
Fuoco's junior and senior seasons were her best offensively. As a junior, her eight goals and 20 total points both ranked second best on the team. She tallied two multi-point games; factoring into four of the Big Green's seven goals in a win vs. Post and adding three points in a 4-2 win over the Union Garnet Chargers.
In her final season, Fuoco's eight goals was tied for the team lead, while her eight assists and 16 total points ranked her second overall. Fuoco played her 100
th career game on the road at Clarkson, a game in which she scored a goal and added two assists to factor into all three Big Green goals. She scored a goal and added Dartmouth's lone shootout goal in a tie with then nationally ranked Cornell before closing the season with an insurance goal against No. 7 St. Lawrence, helping the Big Green to a 2-0 victory, their first win over a ranked opponent since 2022.
As a senior, Fuoco was an All-Ivy League Honorable Mention as well as a Mandi Schwartz finalist.
