PRINCETON, N.J. – On Wednesday, the Ivy League announced its All-Ivy honorees, as senior captain
Cally Dixon was named the Big Green's Academic All-Ivy honoree.
Dixon, a history major, was recognized for both her contributions in the classroom and on the ice.
With the Big Green this season, Dixon ranked second on the team with nine total points and was tied for the team lead with five goals.
Dixon opened the season with a goal at Holy Cross before scoring two goals in the Big Green's first win of the season, a 4-2 victory over then No. 9 Colgate to open conference play.
She also tallied points in back-to-back games, helping the Big Green force overtime at St. Lawrence before tallying assists on two of her team's three goals in a 3-0 win over No. 9 Clarkson.
Dixon also scored a goal in a nonconference win over St. Anselm and scored the game winner in the regular season finale over RPI, a 5-3 victory.
Dixon was also impressive in the defensive zone, collecting 28 total blocks to lead the Big Green forward group.
