Zeynep Ozel, Sophomore, Istanbul, Turkey, Women's Basketball
Zeynep Ozel enjoyed a sensational week, highlighted by a career-high 30 points in Saturday's 77-58 win over Yale. She became the first Big Green player to score 30 points since Fanni Szabo in January 2017 - in 4OT. The last time it happened in regulation was Szabo in November 2014. Dartmouth jumped out to a 17-0 lead before the game was six minutes old, with Ozel scoring 10 of those points. She finished the game 9-of-15 from the floor, 5-of-10 from three and 7-of-7 from the free throw line. The five made threes marked a career high against a Division I opponent. Thirty points marked the third most points by an Ivy League player in a game this season, while she also added five rebounds and six assists. Ozel had five points, four rebounds and six assists on Friday against Brown as well.
