PRINCETON, N.J. – The Dartmouth Big Green men's basketball team fell on the road to Princeton, 82-61, on Saturday evening at Jadwin Gymnasium.
Kareem Thomas paced the Big Green with 22 points, shooting 7-of-14 from the field and 4-of-7 from three-point range while adding four rebounds and three steals.
Brandon Mitchell-Day recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, going a perfect 12-of-12 from the free-throw line.
Jayden Williams contributed eight points with a pair of three-pointers.

First Half:
- Dartmouth came out with energy, jumping to a 7-1 lead after an early three from Williams at the 17:21 mark.
Jackson Munro added two baskets inside as the Big Green established control in the opening minutes.
- After a 9-9 tie, Princeton caught fire from beyond the arc. The Tigers connected on eight first-half three-pointers and used a decisive 30-11 run to turn a tight contest into a double-digit advantage. A trio of late threes extended the margin to 19 before halftime.
- Despite steady free-throw shooting from Mitchell-Day and a late bucket from Williams, Dartmouth trailed 43-28 at the break. Princeton shot 57.1 percent from the floor and 66.7 percent from three in the opening 20 minutes.
Second Half:
- Princeton opened the half with back-to-back three-pointers to push the lead past 20. Dartmouth answered with a three from
Connor Amundsen and continued to attack the paint and draw contact, with Mitchell-Day converting consistently at the line.
- Thomas kept the Big Green within striking distance midway through the half, knocking down a pair of threes and finishing through contact on several drives. A late three-pointer from Thomas cut the deficit to 17 with just over two minutes remaining.
- Princeton maintained control down the stretch, capitalizing at the free-throw line to secure the 82-61 victory.

- The Big Green went 20-of-26 (76.9 percent) from the free-throw line, led by Mitchell-Day's 12-for-12 performance.
