PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced its All-Ivy honorees on Wednesday afternoon, giving Brandon Mitchell-Day an All-Ivy Honorable Mention and naming Jackson Munro to the Academic All-Ivy team.
Student-athletes must be juniors or seniors and excel on both the court and in the classroom to earn the recognition.
Mitchell-Day had an outstanding season for the Big Green, starting all 27 games and surpassing 1000 career points, becoming only the 33rd student-athlete in program history to do so. He led the team in blocks with 24, while leading the program and conference in rebounds with 244 on the season.
Munro also had a great senior season, starting all 27 games for the Big Green. He had the second most blocks on the team with 23, ranking eighth in the league for the same category. He had nine games with 10+ points this season, including a Columbia game where he led the offense with 13 points, including the game-winning points.
