DANSBURY, Conn.—ECAC Hockey announced its All-ECAC Teams this week. Dartmouth landed four players on the All-ECAC Team. Hayden Stavroff has been named First Team All-ECAC, Hank Cleaves and Emmett Croteau were named Second Team All-ECAC while CJ Foley was named Third Team All-ECAC.
Stavroff is having one of the best seasons across college hockey as he leads all of college hockey in goals with 27. 22 of his goals came in ECAC play which was the most by seven goals. He is averaging 1.47 points per game which is second in the ECAC and third in Division I. In ECAC play he led the conference with 1.68 points per game. The Columbus, Ohio native tallied 12 multi point games while having eight games with three or more points. He was also the only player in the ECAC to score two hat-tricks and is one of just five across the country with two or more. On Wednesday, he was named Ivy League Player of the Year and All-Ivy First Team.
Cleaves earns his first All-ECAC honor after posting career highs in goals with 14, assists with 21, and points with 35 in 30 regular season games. He is third in the ECAC in point per game at 1.17 while having a +18 rating which is eighth among ECAC forwards. In 22 ECAC games he finished third in the conference with 29 points. He is second in the ECAC in faceoff wins with 353 along with a 54.7 faceoff percentage. The Riverside, Conn. has nine multi point games this season with seven of them coming in ECAC play. Earlier this week he was named First Team All-Ivy. He is the only member of the second team to be a unanimous selection.
Croteau is a member of the Second Team for the second straight season after joining Dartmouth ahead of the 2024-25 season. The netminder has a 11-4-1 record this season along with one shutout. He has a .914 save percentage which is third in the ECAC and a 2.13 goals against average which is second in the ECAC for goalies with 1000+ minutes played. In November he was named both ECAC Goalie of the Month and HCA National Goalie of the Week. The Ritcher Award Semifinalist had 14 games with 20 or more saves and two games with 30 or more saves.
Foley has been named All-ECAC for the third straight season as he was named Third Team All-ECAC in 2023-24 and All-ECAC First Team last season. The junior has three goals and 16 assists this season. The Hanover, Mass. native blocked 38 shots so far this season while two of his goals were game winning goals. He currently leads active ECAC defensemen in assists, points, and points per game.
No. 12 Dartmouth returns to Thompson Arena on Friday, Mar. 13 for the first game of a three game ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal series against Colgate. Faceoff for game one is set for 7 PM, game two will be Saturday, Mar. 14 at 7 PM with a if necessary game scheduled for Sunday, Mar. 15 at 4 PM. Fans can click here for tickets.
