GREENWOOD, Ind. – Two men's basketball student-athletes have been named to the CSC Academic All-District team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
To qualify, student-athletes have competed in at least 90% of the team's total games played OR have started at least 66% of the team's total games played. On the academic side, an undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
Jackson Munro had a great senior season, starting all 27 games for the Big Green. He had the second most blocks on the team with 23, ranking eighth in the league for the same category. He had nine games with 10+ points this season, including a Columbia game where he led the offense with 13 points, including the game-winning points.
Cam McNamee played in all 27 games of his sophomore season, making one start. He had an outstanding performance against Florida, the reigning national champions, where he went 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and 6-for-9 from the field, scoring a team high 16 points against the Gators.
