HANOVER, N.H. – Two Dartmouth women's rowing student-athletes received All-Ivy honors, as announced by the league on Thursday morning.
Áine Ley earned First Team All-Ivy honors, along with Academic All-Ivy for her dedication on the water and in the classroom. Caroline Phipps was named Second Team All-Ivy. This marks Ley's third straight year as an All-Ivy selection.
Ley and Phipps have each played a significant role in the success of Dartmouth's varsity eight, with Ley in the fourth seat at the Ivy League Championship and Phipps in the seventh seat. The varsity eight opened postseason competition with a third overall finish in the grand final at Women's Eastern Sprints.
The Big Green closed out their season by finishing fourth overall at the Ivy League Championship, an improvement from last year's fifth-place finish and the highest placement the Big Green has gotten in the NCAA era.
