HANOVER, N.H. -- Field Hockey Head Coach
Jason Klinkradt has announced the addition of assistant coach Macy Curtis to the coaching staff.
Â
"As someone who grew up in Hanover, Macy also brings with her an extensive understanding of Dartmouth and a genuine appreciation for why this community is so special," said Head Coach
Jason Klinkradt. "She understands the unique connection between academics, athletics, tradition, and relationships that make Dartmouth such a meaningful place. That familiarity, combined with her character, leadership, and competitive spirit, makes her an exceptional addition to our program."
Â
A Hanover native, Curtis joins Dartmouth after an outstanding career at Davidson College, where she established herself as a leader, competitor, and consistent performer from the moment she stepped onto campus. A four-year starter and 2021 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team selection, Curtis appeared in every game throughout her collegiate career (70) and became one of Davidson's most dependable Student Athletes. While at Davidson, Curtis earned her bachelor's in communication studies.
Â
Over the course of her career, Curtis contributed across every area of the game — scoring goals, creating opportunities for teammates, and bringing a relentless work ethic each day.
Curtis also played a critical role in Davidson's recent resurgence, helping the Wildcats secure their first Atlantic 10 Tournament berth since 2015. Her leadership, consistency, and competitive drive were key catalysts in helping elevate the program and reestablish a winning culture.
Â
What stands out even more than her accomplishments on the field is Curtis's leadership. She served as a team captain at both Hanover High School and Davidson College, reflecting the respect she earned from teammates and coaches throughout her journey. Curtis has been a leader off the field as well, serving as an assistant youth coach for Seacoast Field Hockey. Curtis consistently demonstrated the ability to lead through example, bring people together, and elevate those around her — qualities that are incredibly important within our program and the broader Dartmouth community.
Â
Before Davidson, Curtis was a standout at Hanover High School, helping lead the Marauders to a New Hampshire Division II State Championship along with multiple state final appearances. She earned all-state honors, NFHCA regional recognition, and National Academic Squad honors while balancing excellence both athletically and academically.
