IWSOC Division I Coaches Poll East Region Rankings
HANOVER, N.H. - Dartmouth women's soccer is ranked third in the Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Coaches (IWSOC) Division I Coaches Poll, in partnership with United Soccer Coaches, in the East Region for Week Five, as announced by the IWSOC on Tuesday, Sept. 15.Â
The Big Green holds the best record in the Ivy League with an overall record of 5-1-2. Dartmouth is on a three-game win streak, with recent victories over Power-Four opponent, the University of Arizona, Holy Cross and Colgate. With the 1-0 victory over Arizona, it was the first time since 2019 that the Big Green defeated a Power-Four opponent. As a team, Dartmouth leads the Ivy League, in fewest goals allowed with three.Â
Individually, in NCAA Division I,
Ola Goebel is tied for third in shutouts, with five and ranked seventh for save percentage with 90.9%. In the Ivy League, Goebel leads the league in goals against average (0.38), shutouts per game (five), saves (90.9%) and saves per game (3.75).
