HANOVER, N.H. – It's Homecoming weekend at Dartmouth. Many of the Big Green programs are action, including football, field hockey, sailing and rowing who all compete on campus.
Men's Soccer
Tuesday, Sept. 29, 6 p.m. vs. New Hampshire
Men's soccer is riding high after winning their last two games over nationally ranked opponents. Both No. 18 Vermont and No. 18 Princeton fell at the hands of the Big Green. The game against New Hampshire marks their second to last non-conference game of the year.
Cross Country
Friday, Oct. 2, Paul Short Invitational
Both the men's and women's cross-country teams return to action after a successful past weekend.
Virginia Kraus placed second overall at the Maribel Sanchez Southern Invitational while
Connor Foley placed fourth overall. The two teams will compete on the campus of Lehigh on Friday.
Equestrian
Friday, Oct. 2, 2 p.m. at University of Lynchburg
Equestrian won their first meet of the season last time out beating College of Charleston 5-4. Big Green will be on the road for their next two meets before returning home on Saturday, Oct. 10 against Centenary University (New Jersey).
Field Hockey
Friday, Oct. 2, 3 p.m. vs UC Davis
Field hockey wrapped up a successful week going 1-1 across two games played. The Big Green beat the University of Penn 4-0 for their first Ivy league win since the 2023 season. Dartmouth will be home on Friday before embarking on a three-game road trip.
Volleyball
Friday, Oct. 2, 6 p.m. at Brown
Volleyball has gone 3-1 in their last four games overall and pushed an undefeated Harvard team to five sets. The Big Green is in the middle of the five-game road trip all coming against Ivy League opponents.
Rowing
Saturday, Oct. 3, 10:00 a.m. Gardner Cup
Rowing begins this fall season on Saturday hosting the Gardner Cup. All three Big Green Rowing teams will be in action on Saturday in the forms of the men's heavyweight and lightweight rowing teams and the women's rowing team.
Sailing
Saturday, Oct. 3, 10:30 a.m. Smith Trophy, Danmark Trophy, Women's Atlantic Coast Championship
Sailing has fared well overall in their first three fall weekends most notably taking second in the Hoyt Trophy last weekend. The Smith Trophy regatta will take place at MIT, Danmark Trophy at the United States Coast Guard Academy and Dartmouth will host the Atlantic Coast Championship. The Danmark and Atlantic Coast Championship will span two days while the Smith Trophy will be only on Saturday.
Men's Golf
Saturday, Oct. 3, Columbia Autumn Invitational
Men's Golf tied for fourth last time out at the Macdonald Cup and will look to have a repeat performance playing 36 holes playing among a strong field at the Columbia Autumn Invitational.
Women's Golf
Saturday, Oct. 3, Yale Invitational
Women's golf is coming off a sixth-place finish at the Princeton Invitational in their first rounds of the fall season. This weekend's Invitational will be 36 holes in length taking place at the Yale Golf Course.
Equestrian
Saturday, Oct. 3, at Bridgewater College
A busy weekend for the Big Green will conclude with a meet against Bridgewater College. Dartmouth is 2-0 in their last two meets against Bridgewater College.
Football
Saturday, Oct. 3, 1:30 p.m. vs University of Penn
Football will open Ivy League play on Homecoming weekend squaring off against the Quakers. Dartmouth is 5-2 in their last seven games against Penn is a series that dates to 1896.
Men's Soccer
Saturday, Oct. 3, 4 p.m. at University of Penn
Dartmouth beat No. 18 Princeton 1-0 to open conference play and will look to start 2-0 in conference for the first time since 2023.
Women's Rugby
Saturday, Oct. 3, 4 p.m. vs American International College (AIC)
Women's rugby season continues to roll on playing in their first home game this weekend since the season opener. Saturday's game will serve as the "Youth Sport and Community Appreciation Day".
Women's Soccer
Saturday, Oct. 3, 6 p.m. at Columbia
Women's soccer has won their last five games overall all of which were shutouts. The Big Green beat Penn 4-0 their last time out to begin their conference slate.
Field Hockey
Sunday, Oct. 4, 1 p.m. at Columbia
After their home game on Friday (Oct. 2) the Big Green will jump back into Ivy League play. Sunday's game marks the first of three straight road games for Dartmouth.
