2019 (Senior): Served as a team captain…Named to the All-Ivy League Second Team…A member of the NFHCA All-Northeast Region Second Team…Led the team in scoring with 21 points, while also leading with eight goals…Her five assists were second on the team…Her 52 shots were more than two times greater than the next Dartmouth player…Had two of Dartmouth’s four game-winning goals…Led the team with six points (2-2-6) in Ivy play…Had a goal and an assist in four games: at Boston College (9/13), Merrimack (9/22), UMass Lowell (9/29) and Columbia (10/26)…Scored the final goal of her career at Vermont (11/3), finishing her career with 29 to rank eighth all-time in program history.
2018 (Junior): Tabbed as a member of the All-Ivy League First Team…Earned a spot on the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Northeast Region Second Team…For the second time in as many seasons, Spanos netted nine goals for the Green and White, finishing tied for fifth amongst all Ivy players... Leading the team in both goals (9) and points (19), she became the first Dartmouth player in four years to lead the team in scoring in consecutive seasons as Ali Savage did from 2012-14….Of Spanos' nine goals, three of them were game winners, second most by any player in the conference in 2018…Had a four-game goal-scoring streak in September…Her four points on two goals in the finale at Cornell was her best scoring output of the season…Had a goal and her lone assist of the season in the 4-3 win at UMass…Her three game-winning goals came at UMass and UMass Lowell and at home against Brown.
2017 (Sophomore): Named to the All-Ivy League Second Team... Tallied team highs in goals (9), assists (9) and points (29)... She recorded three game-winning goals on the season... Against Maine on 9/17, she had her biggest game of the season, notching two goals and an assist for a five-point day... On 9/27 against Fairfield, she tallied two-of-the-three Dartmouth goals to lead the team to its third win of the season.
2016 (Freshman): In her first collegiate game, notched her first career point with an assist on Carmen Braceras' goal at No. 9 Albany on 9/3...Scored her first collegiate goal at Northeastern on 10/2...Scored one goal in a home loss vs. Yale on 10/15, as well as another at Columbia on 10/21...Registered her final point of the season during a home victory against Holy Cross on 10/26.
Before Dartmouth: Played for Lower Dauphin High School… The daughter of George and Elizabeth Spanos… Her sister Abby played four years of field hockey at Millersville University…Three-year letterwinner in field hockey and was named team captain as a senior…Played on a team that won the Mid-Penn Keystone Division Championship in sophomore, junior and senior season…A Mid-Penn Conference Champion as a sophomore and senior…Won the PIAA AAA State Championship as both a sophomore and junior…District III AAA Champion in her final two seasons…As a senior, she was named to the Mid-Penn Keystone Division III All-Star First Team, Max Field Hockey AAA All-State Second Team, PHSFHCA Academic Squad and the NFHCA High School National Academic Squad.
