2006: Strout played and started in all 17 games on the back line for the Big Green. In addition to her aggressive defensive play, Strout added seven points of offense on one goal and five assists. Her goal was the team's final goal of the season, as she netted her second career goal in the team's final game against Cornell. Strout was named an Ivy League Honorable Mention for the first time in her career, as well as being named to the league's weekly honor roll once. Strout was also named the team's Most Valuable Player.
2005: Strout played in 16 of Dartmouth's 17 games as a sophomore. She started 12 times, including each of the team's final eight contests. She notched her first career goal in a game at Holy Cross on October 9.
2004: Strout became a contributor right away, starting all 17 games as a freshman. She fired three shots on net, and one of her two assists aided the game-winning goal against Vermont. After a season, Strout was invited by USA Field Hockey to compete at the New England Elite Performance Training Center, and she was also named to the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
Before Dartmouth: A four-year letterwinner at Villa Duchesne, Strout captained the squad to a 16-6 mark her senior year. She was named first team All-Metro St. Louis as a senior after earning second team honors as a junior. Strout also played in the 2002 AAU Junior Olympics and took home the silver medal. She competed in the USA Field Hockey National Futures Tournament with the Futures Elite Program where she was selected by the USA Field Hockey Association to the U-16 team that played in Holland and Australia.
