Grayson Kline came to Dartmouth in the spring of 2024 in the role of offensive quality control. The former Penn State Nittany Lion served as special teams / defensive quality control at Long Island University in the fall of 2023.
Â
While at LIU, Kline worked closely with position coaches to develop a special teams game plan. He also reported to the head coach and defensive staff members with a breakdown of the opponents’ offensive personnel and tendencies.
Â
In 2024, Kline transitioned into an offensive quality control – offensive line role, assisting the wide receivers coach with individual drills. Kline was responsible for breakdown of opponent, scouting reports, practice and game film. He also helped operate the offensive scout team.
Â
LIU was Kline’s first coaching job after his time as a student-at Penn State (2018-23). While at PSU, he began as a quarterback before transitioning to tight end. As a redshirt senior in 2022, Kline was named the coaching staff’s Developmental Squad Offensive Player of the Game (Ohio, Sept. 10).
