Did not miss a single PAT attempt, setting a school record by converting 43 in the process … finished the season having made 45 consecutive extra points, six shy of the Dartmouth record held by 18-year NFL veteran Nick Lowery ’78 … led the Big Green in scoring and ranked fifth in the Ivy League with 61 points, third among kickers only … first of six field goals on the season came from 39 yards out in the 38-3 win over Colgate, his only attempt during the first half of the season, while converting five PATs to earn Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Week … sent four of his five kickoffs into the end zone for a touchback at Penn while converting all our of his extra points … after going a perfect 7-for-7 on PATs at Marist, tied the Dartmouth record with eight while splitting the uprights on a 31-yard field goal for a career-high 11 points in the 59-24 win over Columbia … provided a crucial 42-yard field goal — a season long — in the 9-6 victory at Harvard the following week … put another 42-yard field goal through the goal posts along with a 33-yarder to help the Big Green come away with a 27-10 win at Yankee Stadium over ninth-ranked Princeton … final field goal was a 34-yarder against Cornell.

Took over as the team’s starting placekicker during the preseason … finished fourth among the Ivy League kickers with 58 points and his 40 PATs are the second most in a season at Dartmouth … posted 19 touchbacks on 60 kickoffs with an average of 55.3 yards per kick … the Big Green’s 37.1-yard average on kickoff coverages ranked fourth in the conference … got plenty of opportunities early in the season, booting five field goals in the first three games … converted first two collegiate kicks with field goals from 38 and 26 yards to start the scoring in a 41-0 shutout win over Georgetown … also converted all five of his PATs against the Hoyas as he tallied a season-high 11 points in his collegiate debut … even preserved the shutout with a touchdown-saving tackle on a kickoff coverage at midfield … followed up with 10 more points the following week in a 34-14 victory at Holy Cross, once again kicking two field goals (from 25 and 38 yards) for the game’s first points ... cranked a season-long 44-yard field goal to help Dartmouth defeat Penn in the Ivy opener, 37-14, earning Ivy League Rookie of the Week honors for his efforts … converted 25 consecutive PATs over the final seven contests … went a perfect 6-for-6 on extra-point attempts in the 42-0 blanking of Sacred Heart … hit on all four PATs in the 28-12 win at Columbia … after booting three extra points against Harvard, finished the scoring in the 24-17 win with a 28-yard field goal … not only was 5-for-5 on PATs in the 35-24 win at Cornell, also registered another tackle on a kickoff return.
HIGH SCHOOL
Selected to the all-state first team by both the Associated Press and USA Today … set a school record with a 52-yard field goal, converted field goals of 49, 48, 43 and 30 yards in one game and set a county record with 13 field goals in a season … two-year captain can also punt, averaging 40.7 yards as a senior and winning the punting competition at the Harvard Specialist Camp … made 24-of-28 field goal attempts over his career with five longer than 45 yards and 10 longer than 40 … had just one kick blocked … perfect 47-of-47 on PATs … chosen for the Florida Athletic Coaches Association North/South Football All-Star Classic and the 352 Pigskin All-Star Classic.

Davis … son of Judd Davis and Weldon Liberatore has one sister … born on Jan. 23, 2000 … father walked on as a placekicker at the University of Florida and graduated as the Gators’ all-time leading scorer, earning AP All-American honors and the Lou Groza Award as college football’s best placekicker in 1993 … enjoys golf and working with computers … looking to go into a career in business.
