All-Ivy League Second Team on the defensive line … co-recipient of the team’s John M. Manley ’40 Award, given to the varsity football player who demonstrates the most improvement through his efforts in the weight room …started all 10 games at nose guard … recorded two half-sacks among his 3.0 tackles for a loss while amassing 29 stops overall … also broke up a pair of passes … had at least one tackle in every game … one of his two stops at Holy Cross stopped a Crusader short of the marker on a 3rd-and-2, forcing a punt and leading to Dartmouth’s first touchdown in the 34-14 road victory … batted down a pass at the line of scrimmage and added three tackles in the 41-18 triumph at Yale … lone tackle against Sacred Heart was at the line on a 4th-and-1, turning the ball over on downs … dropped four Crimson ball carriers, one for a 3-yard loss, in the first win over Harvard in 15 years, 24-17 … came up with a career-high seven stops in the defensive struggle at nationally ranked Princeton … helped out on a 6-yard sack at Cornell and another of 4 yards versus Brown to finish out the season.
