Split time under center for the second straight year with Jared Gerbino … set a school record and led the Ivy League in passing efficiency (minimum 100 attempts) at 183.87 … combined with Gerbino and two others to set the team school record for efficiency for a season at 173.08 … completed 67.0 percent of his passes, reaching that figure for the second straight year, matching the total of all other Dartmouth QBs ever (minimum 100 attempts) … connected on touchdowns tosses of 26 and 13 yards in the season opener at Jacksonville as part of a 7-for-9 day for a total of 111 yards through the air, plus ran for 31 yards on four carries in the 35-6 victory … completed all five of his throws for 91 yards, including a 31-yard strike to the end zone, plus ran for a 12-yard score in the 42-10 homecoming romp over Yale … heaved a 66-yard bomb for a touchdown at Marist in the 49-7 win … went 5-for-8 for 112 yards and two touchdowns while running for 41 yards on just six rushes in the 59-24 triumph over Columbia … led the team in rushing at Harvard, but saved his best for last as he guided the offense 96 yards in the final minute, ending on a 45-yard Hail Mary — the “Miracle in Cambridge” to lift Dartmouth to a 9-6 victory … that play was named the D-Sports Moment of the Year while the game was voted as the Ivy League Game of the Year … finished the game 11-of-18 for 133 yards all coming after halftime … connected on a 30-yard TD against Cornell … became the 19th Dartmouth quarterback to throw for 300 yards in a game (303) when he completed 19-of-23 passes — four for touchdowns — and rallied the Big Green from a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter with two TD drives in the 29-23 win at Brown to clinch a share of Dartmouth’s record 19th Ivy League crown.

Named to Phil Steele’s All-Ivy League Second Team … took over the reins as the starting quarterback and never let go, starting all 10 games and ranking third nationally in completion percentage (.689), which set a Dartmouth single-season record … TD-to-INT ratio of 13-2 is the second-best in program history as well (minimum 10 TD tosses)… passing efficiency of 155.54 was seventh among FCS quarterbacks and fourth-best by a Big Green QB … threw for 1,362 yards on 122-of-177 passing … varsity debut came in the season opener as he connected on 15-of-21 throws for 177 yards and a touchdown, plus ran for 22 yards on just four carries, one a 5-yard scoring scamper in the 41-0 blanking of the Hoyas ... set season highs of 25 completions, 35 attempts, 258 yards, three touchdowns and 289 total yards in the 34-14 win at Holy Cross … added three more scoring strikes to his ledger the following week with an efficient 18-of-21 day for 221 yards to lead the Big Green to a 37-14 triumph in the Ivy opener against Penn … all three TDs came in the third quarter — including his longest pass of the year (59) — to turn a 13-7 halftime lead into a blowout … split more time at QB over the final seven games with Dartmouth’s leading rusher on the season, Jared Gerbino … tossed a touchdown in each of the next three contests, plus caught a 21-yard pass in the end zone at Columbia in the 28-12 victory … also ran for a season-best 44 yards on seven carries against the Lions … first two scores at Cornell came on his throws as he completed 12-of-20 for 167 yards to lead the Green to a 21-0 lead after the first quarter en route to a 35-24 win … ended the year with 160 yards on 17-of-27 passing with a 5-yard TD toss, plus bolted for his longest run of the year at 29 yards in the 49-7 blowout of Brown.
FRESHMAN (2017)
Recipient of the team’s Scout Team Award on offense … developed his skills on the junior varsity … completed 4-of-6 passes for 91 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown and a 51-yard bomb in the 36-8 jayvee win over Norwich.
HIGH SCHOOL
First-team all-conference as sophomore, junior and senior … conference and team MVP final two years ... Class 6A All-State as a senior ... two-year captain who passed for 2,615 yards and 35 touchdowns with just six interceptions as a senior … completed a healthy 61.3 percent of his attempts and ran for 1,003 yards … Daily Chronicle Football Offensive Player of the Year … had TD throws of 80, 80 and 60 yards in state semifinal loss, passing for 394 yards and five touchdowns … team went 28-8 over final three years … also captained baseball team as a senior, making all-conference … shooting guard on conference champion basketball team as a senior … chose Dartmouth over offers from Colgate, Columbia and Air Force.
