FIFTH YEAR (2019)
Granted a fifth year of eligibility due to an injury … All-Ivy League First Team on the defensive line, Phil Steele All-Ivy League Second Team … recipient of the Big Green’s Gordon P. Bennett Award who exemplifies the high degree of performance, sportsmanship and character of the 1936 team captain … started all 10 games and led the Dartmouth defensive linemen with 36 tackles … also led the team with a pair of forced fumbles and was third with 4.5 tackles for a loss … opened the season with three tackles, one for a 1-yard loss, in the 35-6 victory at Jacksonville … was named the DartmouthSports.com Male Athlete of the Week following his performance against Colgate during which he led the squad with a season-high nine stops, two for a loss including 1.5 sacks, and forcing a fumble in the 38-3 win … his stuff behind the line on 4th-and-1 during the game’s opening possession set the tone against the Raiders … both of his sacks came on fourth-down plays as well … one of his five tackles at Penn came on fourth down in the third quarter, one yard shy of the marker, as Dartmouth went on to win its Ivy opener, 28-15 … had another fourth-down stuff at the line to turn the ball over on downs in the 42-10 homecoming victory over Yale … forced a fumble at the start of the third quarter to give the Green the ball and set up a touchdown in the 59-24 romp over Columbia … came up big at Harvard with eight stops, one for a loss on third down to force a punt, as Dartmouth won the defensive struggle that ended with a Hail Mary touchdown, 9-6.
SENIOR (2018) | Game-by-Game Stats
All-Ivy League First Team on the defensive line … recipient of the Lester R. Godwin Award from the team as the senior football player who, through extraordinary perseverance, has risen above personal disadvantage to contribute measurably to the team … started all 10 games at defensive end and routinely drew a double team of blockers … finished the season with 41 tackles, 22 solo, with 8.5 going for a loss (tied for seventh in the conference) including four sacks (tied for sixth) … big reason why the Big Green ranked second in the FCS in rushing and scoring defense as well as turnover margin and red zone defense, not to mention fourth in total defense … made five stops with a four-yard sack in the 34-14 victory at Holy Cross … led the Dartmouth defense with seven tackles in the Ivy League opener against Penn, collecting another sack along the way … dropped five Bulldogs to the turf in the 41-18 night win on the road at Yale … had a season-high nine tackles in the showdown of undefeated teams at 14th-ranked Princeton … dominated Brown with 4.0 of his six tackles going for a total loss of 25 yards, including a pair of sacks in the 49-7 drubbing.

Started first four games at defensive tackle before an injury sidelined him for most of the rest of the season … dominated Stetson with a team-high eight tackles, four going for a loss including 1.5 sacks, in the 38-7 rout … chosen as the DartmouthSports.com Male Athlete of the Week for his performance against the Hatters … came up with six stops the next week in the overtime victory over Holy Cross … made consecutive tackles against Yale late in the first quarter, but suffered his injury on the second one … returned in the season finale against Princeton to record two tackles.

Expected to be an important member of the defensive line, but limited to just the first quarter of the season opener due to an injury … only tackle on the year was an assisted sack for a loss of five yards on the first drive for 22nd-ranked New Hampshire.
FRESHMAN (2015) | Game-by-Game Stats
Competed in eight of the 10 varsity games during the season … named the team’s Earl Hamilton Freshman Award winner … recorded first tackle in the season opener at Georgetown during the 31-10 triumph … stuffed a Sacred Heart runner for a one-yard loss on a 4th-and-1 play late in the 49-7 victory … helped out on another tackle for a loss, this time for a two-yard setback in the 21-3 win over Cornell.
