2006: Saw action in all 17 games for the Big Green, finishing second on the team in points with 13. The co-captain took 44 shots, putting 24 of them on the cage, netting five goals. The primary shooter off penalty corners, Waugh scored three of her five goals in Dartmouth wins. Waugh was named Honorable Mention by the Ivy League. Waugh was also named the teams recipient of the Dorothy Leavitt Award given to the team member who makes a significant contribution to the team through hard work, determination, team spirit and a sense of what it takes to be good.
2005: Waugh had a breakout season as a sophomore, leading the team with 20 points on seven goals and six assists while starting all 17 games. She came on strong down the stretch, notching 19 of her 20 points during the team's final nine games. She ended the season with a five-game point-scoring streak, with three goals and three assists in those contests. Waugh had a pair of four-point games, including her first career two-goal game at Yale. She had a goal and two assists the following day at Holy Cross to earn Ivy League player of the week honors. Waugh was named second team All-Northeast Region by the NFHCA and was also first team All-Ivy. She was named to the NFHCA's National Academic Squad for the second consecutive season.
2004: After playing midfield and forward in high school, Waugh made an immediate impact in the backfield for the Big Green. She played all 17 games, making 14 starts. Waugh fired off only one shot all year, and she made a defensive save during a one-goal loss at Hofstra. The Ivy League Rookie of the Week on Sept. 21, Waugh was named to the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad at season's end.
Personal: Whitney Elizabeth Waugh is the daughter of Stephen and Diane Waugh. Her aunt, Amy Curry, played field hockey at Trinity.
