Named a second-team All-America offensive lineman by STATS and the AFCA … All-America Third Team as selected by the Associated Press and Phil Steele … Division I All-New England Team … unanimous selection for the All-Ivy League First Team … recipient of the program’s Frank Hershey Award as the varsity player who possesses a genuine zest for life, a strong, upbeat attitude and a sincere desire to win because of his dedication and love for the game, his team and college … started all 10 games at left tackle … keystone of the offensive line that helped Dartmouth finish the season 15th in the FCS coaches poll as the offense ranked 11th among FCS teams in rushing (254.7 yards per game), sixth in fewest sacks allowed (7) and eighth in team passing efficiency … the Big Green also ranked in the top 20 nationally in scoring offense at 34 points per game, as well as third- and fourth-down conversion percentage.
JUNIOR (2017)
All-Ivy League First Team on the offensive line … recipient of the team’s Jake Crouthamel Award, given to the underclassman who has contributed the most to the success of the team … started all 10 games at left tackle … anchored an offensive line that allowed Dartmouth to rank in the top half of the Ivy League in scoring, rushing, passing and total yards, joining the conference champion (Yale) as the only teams that could make that claim … the Big Green was third in each of those categories in league play only … his blocking also helped the Green rank 15th nationally in fewest sacks allowed (one per game), plus paved the way for two backs to be among the top seven in league rushing yards per game in the Ancient Eight.
SOPHOMORE (2016)
All-Ivy League honorable mention on the offensive line … missed the opener with an injury before returning to the field for the 35-10 win at Holy Cross … started each of the final eight games at left tackle … big part of the line that yielded the fewest sacks (13) in the Ivy League while protecting the passing game that produced the most yards (2,787) … offense racked up nearly 410 yards per game, second only to co-champion Princeton … the 615 yards gained against Brown were the most in 90 years by a Big Green squad.
FRESHMAN (2015)
Made an impact quickly during his rookie campaign, seeing action in eight games with one start against Columbia … part of the regular rotation on the line, predominantly at left tackle.
HIGH SCHOOL
Chosen to the All-Chicagoland first team … also named to the all-conference and all-area first teams and all-state honorable mention … captained squad as a senior … also competed in track, lacrosse and wrestling in high school.

Full name is Matthew Wallace Kaskey … born on St. Patrick’s Day in 1997 … son of Bruce and Christy Kaskey has a pair of brothers and a sister … uncle F.J. Fee played for Coach Teevens’ 1991 Ivy League champion … father Bruce helped the Division III powerhouse Ithaca Bombers to the 1984 ECAC Championship … family business produces popular Kaskey Kids sports figures including the “Football Guys” … enjoys skiing … knows how to juggle.
