Pasquin joined the Dartmouth strength and conditioning staff as an assistant strength & conditioning coach in April of 2018.
His responsibilities at the college include the design and implementation of training programs for men’s basketball, women’s lacrosse, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s alpine skiing, and sailing. James also assists with daily training and leads nutritional education for the football team. In addition to these responsibilities, Jamie oversees continuing education for the strength & conditioning department and assists with the development of interns.
Prior to his time with the Big Green, Jamie was an assistant strength & conditioning coach at Quinnipiac University in 2017-18, where he assisted with the men’s and women’s basketball and ice hockey programs.
During the 2016-17 school year, he was a graduate assistant strength & conditioning coach at Sacred Heart University where he worked extensively with men’s volleyball, softball, golf, rowing, and track and field. James also assisted with football and men’s and women’s basketball while with the Pioneers.
Jamie has completed strength & conditioning internships at Quinnipiac, University of Michigan (Olympic sports), The Citadel, Springfield College and Reach Your Potential Training (RYPT).
He is currently completing his master’s degree in exercise science and nutrition from Sacred Heart.
Jamie earned his bachelor’s degree in applied exercise science and a minor in philosophy from Springfield College in 2016. While at Springfield, he played football and was a co-founder of the school’s weightlifting club.
His certifications include: CSCS, FRCms, RPR Coach, First Aid, CPR and AED. He has also earned certificates from the Postural Restoration Institute.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Hazlet, New Jersey, Jamie attended Raritan High School where he participated in football, basketball, and track and field.
