Recipient of the team’s Rudy LaRusso Award as the most improved player … led the team in rebounding at 4.7 per game … also made and attempted the most free throws on the squad … scored in double figures eight times with a high of 18 at Brown in late January … started each of the first 14 contests … topped 10 points in a game for the first time at UIC on Dec. 15 by hitting 7-of-11 field goals and his lone free throw for 15 points … followed that up with a dozen more at Notre Dame … scoring dropped off the next game, but he hit the boards hard with a season-best 12 rebounds in a 75-58 win over Bryant … enjoyed playing America East teams with 12 points at New Hampshire and 10 more against Vermont … his 18 points at Brown included 7-of-8 field goals and 4-of-7 at the foul line … nearly carried the Green to a victory over eventual Ivy League champ Penn by recording his first career double-double (14 points, 12 rebounds) … went 7-of-9 from the floor with one of his two 3-pointers on the year in tallying 15 points against Yale … after missing the penultimate game with an injury, ended the season with 11 points against Cornell.
