Men's Ice Hockey
vs Norwich
Caleb Nelson joined the Dartmouth hockey team in the winter of 2013 as a mid-season addition to the Big Green’s roster.
Nelson, a native of Rygate, Vt., will wear No. 34 while with the team and found his way to the Dartmouth locker room via Tam IMPACT.
"I could not be more pleased to add a young man of such high character to this program," head coach Bob Gaudet said after Nelson’s acquisition. "When presented with the opportunity to add a person like Caleb to our roster, mid-season or not, we had to jump at the chance to do so.
"I am really excited that Caleb accepted our offer to join the Dartmouth men's hockey family for not only this year, but also for years to come."
A regular on the bus for local road games, Nelson and his family are game day fixtures at Thompson Arena when the Big Green are set to face off with some of the nation’s top teams.
Though a member of the team at Dartmouth, Nelson is continuing his education at the Blue Mountain Union School, while also pursuing interests in music and sports.
Caleb's connection with the Dartmouth men's hockey team has been made possible through Team IMPACT. The organization's goal is to enhance the lives of children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses by matching them with college athletic teams.
