Senior (2025-26)
Dove in five meets this season…was top three in every event he competed in during the regular season (excluding Ivy League Championships)… posted personal best scores of 340.50 in the 3M (six dives) and 328.25 on 1M (six dives) at the Golden Grizzly Classic, while also recording a 310.00 on platform diving (six dives) at the same meet...Added dual-meet bests of 316.60 on the 3M and 300.55 on the 1M against Harvard and Cornell…finished 14th in the 1M and 12th in the 3M finals at the Ivy League Championships.
Junior (2024-25):
Dove in 15 meets this season…Finished 8th in the 3 Meter Dive at Ivy League Championships…Scored a 302.70 at the Miami Invite, winning the event and qualifying for NCAA Diving Zones...Ranked 10th on the Dartmouth's All-Time Top-10 list with a score of 339.30 on the 3-meter at Bates...Competed in NCAA Diving Zones...Named CSCAA Scholar All-America.
Sophomore (2023-24):
Won the 3-meter dive against Bates, scoring 315.30 and qualifying for his second straight NCAA Diving Zones Championship.
Competed in the 1-meter dive of the B Final in the Ivy League Championship.
Dove both the 1-meter and 3-meter at the NCAA Diving Zones Championship.
First-Year (2022-23):
Beat Cornell on both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive in his first collegiate meet, earning a 292.55 on the 3-meter.
Placed second on the 3-meter dive at the Tate Ramsden Invitational, qualifying for the NCAA Zone Championship with a 332.75.
Before Dartmouth:
Named 2022 Most Valuable Player for Sac-Joaquin Section.
Also received Sac-Joaquin Diver of the Year in 2019 and 2021.
Personal: Son of Fanny and Morris Tai … Has one brother and one sister … Sister Ashley was a gymnast at Stanford … Plans to study and pursue a career in engineering.
